We home school our three kids, and not only are they smart, they're social, and even play sports and go to Hebrew school!

We've been married for 14.5 years, together for 16.5 and so far no one has filed for divorce.

We don't drink alcohol, but don't care if you do.

We own guns, and never fight about it.

We have a vicious face eating GSD/Doberman mix.

We're Jews who vote conservative.

Someday, I might even get a tattoo.

That is all.

I asked my Rabbi about that, he said there is no Jewish cemetery that would refuse to allow someone to be buried there because they had a tattoo.

That's really cool, Sharon.

Inspiring, even: ;)

Nothing else has worked so far
So I'll wish upon a star
Wonderous shining speck of light
I need a Jew

Lois makes me take the rap
Cause our checkbook looks like crap
Since I can't give her a slap
I need a Jew

Where to find
A Baum or Steen or Stein
To teach me how to whine and do
my taaaaaxesss...

Though by many they're abhored
Hebrew people I've adored
Even though they killed my Lord
I need a Jew

(speaking)Max:
Hi, my name's Max Weinstein,
my car just broke down,
can I use you phone?(/speaking)

Peter:
Now my troubles are all through
I have a Jew!

I'm young.

I have a lot of good friends.

I have a traveler of Captain Morgan in the freezer.

I don't always have much extra money, but I do always have my needs taken care of.

I own a G19.

In my life, I've been with a girl or two that was "way out of my league."

No matter what happens, I know that I will protect the people I care about and they will do the same for me.

I've had the benefit of a solid public education and a chance to attend college on a partial scholarship.

Things aren't bad. They can always get much, much worse. Some days I wake up on the wrong side of the bed. There have been times where things were really rough. But one thing I've always felt/known and always will is this: The worst day of my entire life will still be better than the BEST day that 75% of the world will have. The worst possible things that could happen to me (loss, disease, bankruptcy, divorce) have happened to millions and millions of other people who have picked up and kept going.

I feel lucky to live in the time and place that I do and in the "big picture," I know that I am fortunate for every breath I've drawn, every experience I've had and every memory I've made.

I forgot to add, I'm close to my parents (they live in our inlaw suite!) I help my mom who is battling cancer, and even though the cancer part sucks, it's wonderful that we're able to be here for her.

Oh, and my parents have been married over 50 years, my grandparents were married for 63 before my grandmother died, and my other grandparents were married a long time before they died as well. :)

I love homeschooling my kids. When we study history, we get in the car and go to the Alamo. Hydrology, down to the river, oceanography...off to the beach. We are going to study hurricanes the next time we go see my wifes folks in Mississippi by stopping and looking at the damage from katrina. The list goes on and on. Our kids have many friends, play in the neighborhood when the other kids get out of school. People who are biased against homeschooling really don't understand how great it is.

1. "Chosen" refers to having to following 600 + mitzvahs (i.e. good deeds) not chosen above others for preferential treatment.

2. This Jew, i.e. me has 2 tattoos (Israeli flag and the Shield of Israel) with a 3rd one coming shortly (again Jewish related).

3. This Jew doesn't believe in politics and picking b/t the better of two evils, so I don't vote.
