It seems like yesterday that my youngest son was born. Now he's in first grade - and he came home from school one day last week very, very excited with a flier in his cute little hand about the local T-ball league.
Now, when I was his age I was ridiculously obsessed with baseball - but I never played in a little league, or anything like that. I'm stoked that he's into something, and that my wife and I can give him what I never had. They actually called me and asked if I could coach, but the work schedule of a computer programmer is not exactly conducive to showing up at particular places at a particular time with any kind of consistency. I know jack about coaching T-ball, but I still wish I could give it a try.
He had his first practice today. I don't really know how to describe how happy I am for him ... about all I can say is 'fully stoked'.
