About 65% of Americans have a mortgage, many spend nearly 50% of their income on their mortgage.

Now the government is going to have their hand in that cookie jar, 50% of everyone's money, and they want it with no oversight, and no investigations? How are we going to avoid the same problem if the people responsible are not held accountable?

Does this make anyone else a little nervous?

Personally I think the country could use a depression right about now, it might get people's attention.

a depression right now... oh god it would get peoples attention alright. It would be disaster. The generation that lived through the depression were a different breed of people than the candy asses that live in this country today.

I can't imagine what will happen when the line to Star Bucks for a $1,400 grande coco loco pico crappo is 3 blocks long.
