says break into me? Seriously, I have had one for two years now and it has been broken into to twice. Last time being last night at the motel. What a wonderful phone call to get at 4am from the front desk. :steamed: They used a screwdriver on the locks making it impossible to open it with a key and then locked it leaving it.

No good bastards stole my kevlar vest, and gear bag. They left the radar detector, Oakley sunglasses and so on. Even left my duty belt cuffs batons and so on. This should be fun when I get to work today. I have never had any problems until I bought this damn car so is there something about them that says break into me or am I just having really good luck?

It's the Oprah factor.

In all seriousness, that sucks, and I'm sorry to hear that.

Lower your profile & use the trunk.

Lower your profile & use the trunk.

Unfortunately everything was in the trunk. So far I can't think of anything else that was taken though.

Do you wear your uniform off base, have a USAFSF decal on the car or go around in a USAFSF t-shirt?

This is odd. Criminals don't just break into trunks. How long have you been at the motel?

My guess is that they might have seen you put into /take out of the trunk the valuable items.

Try an alarm. You can get ones that will not go off at anything to limit the false alarms. Get the loudest siren you can. The louder it is the more chance they will take off!

Maybe they Think It's A Cadillac?

Why did you have all your duty gear with you if you were travelling?

Cuz it's a chick car and chicks are notorious for leaving a bunch of crap (mostly valuables) in the car. They probably saw your gear bag and thought it was a purse.

Maybe they Think It's A Cadillac?

 at the inside joke.

Seriously buy a Honda anyways. Better built, better re-sale and wont break down on you every other month.

Like the say about GMC- "Got Mechanic Coming"

5% tint, sunshade, car alarm (with interior sirens and visible notification decals/blinking LED), disable the in-cabin trunk popper. And no decals, aftermarket stuff, etc on the outside; keep a low profile. Also, lock the valuables in the glove box.

There's not much you can do beyond that, but the dark tint and sunshade keeps people from looking in, at least.

Isn't the G6 the car that was designed by 50 (fidy) cent?

That says something right there.
