It's kind of a four way tie. I had to strangle a Rottweiler that decided I was a chew toy and he didn't go gracefully. I've got 1 stab wound and 2 slashes, head split open multiple times (under the hair mostly) and one eye droops when I get tired from a hit with a stick that severed most of the muscles that hold the eyelid up. Come to think of it, I'm in such sorry shape, I think I need to be put down! :biggrin:

Yep that was it - had my foot on the brake when I t-boned a '95 LTD doing about 50... The seat belt left a nice burn on my chest but other than the foot I was pretty good...
1st surgery put a pin in hoping to set the joint right
2nd surgery remove pin
3rd surgery fuse the Calcaneus and Talus with a big honking screw where the red line is

I am only 36 and the knee pops more than most and the hip hurts a little if I am on my feet a lot...
When the wreck happened I had been a correctional officer at a state prison for about 6 months - the doc said I would have to find another line of work - it took 18 months but I went back (I like the job) and stayed working the compound for another 8 years - I have a desk job now...

It sounds like you have a lot of resolve and determination :thumbsup: What does the doc say? I think swimming would help if you dont already do some. Medicine has come a long way and maybe in a few years more improvements will come and maybe it wont be so bad. :angel:
