Twelve machine guns of various size and caliber: $250,000.
Belt after belt of ammo: $12,000.
Making one hit in 5,000 rounds expended: Priceless!

Yeah I was expecting total destruction of the plane but it looked like it was only nicked. Completely disappointed.
I am THERE!
.....Just as soon as I win the lottery. :faint:
Find a copy of the Dillon video shooting at planes at night, better tracer action.

when I was a kid I'd set a balsa glider on fire and shoot at it with a super soaker as it flew.

Seems like a lot of wasted ammo and wasted cool planes-if they ever hit them

Whats life without a little fun?
When I was in the Artillery we used to do training out in Fort Irwin, CA (National Training Center). One of the ranges we got to participate in was just that, a bunch of M-16's and 50 cals shooting at a remote controlled plane. That had to be the highlight of or trip.
That does look like a whole lotta fun!

At the end of Dillon's video "Machine Gun Magic" they shoot all manner of full auto at RC airplanes at night. Very entertaining.
