but the 147 grain HST is excellent....ive been carrying that in my XD and Sig 229 for a while......

I went the same route. Had the G23, two actually over the many years. Great gun. Love the 180gr .40sw. However, have gone to the 9mm exclusively in the G19 and prefer it overall.

I tote 147gr T-Series, Golden Saber, HST or Gold Dot.

I like Gold Dots and usually carry the 124+P varient in my G26. The 147 is good and I have some of those as well.

I also like the Winchester Ranger series and Federal's HST 147.
