Hey all,
I finally was able to get to the Pachmyer Grips Sunday... I'm not sure what type of wood they use, but it's a very hard wood, I had to whittle away the area for the safety on the right side of the Pistola... It took probably 30 min of trial and error, but I finished and it looks, (and feels), great.... Another note about the wood... after the whittling, sanding, and washing, no extra stain was needed, the fresh areas of the wood, looked just like the rest of it....:dunno:, either the stain is impregnated into the wood, or they just use wood which is already that color, and just needs to be buffed. Does anyone know what kind it is?
Anyway, here is some porn....
