View Full Version : Old single barrel shotgun question
I have an old single barrel 12 ga. that I can barely make out Remington on it. The cocking lever is on the side. You push down on it to cock it.
Any idea what era this gun is?
Not really looking to sell, just curious what I have. Been stuck in the corner of the safe a long time and forgot I had it.

Get some pics up, also use the macro on your camera to get some good shots of any lettering or numbers.
A few images.

Looks like your serial number is in the latter part of that range, I can't read it too well, but it looks like 84xxx. So I'd guess the gun was made 1903 or late 1902.
Great, thanks very much. I went to the Remington site but didn't know where to begin.
I'll pass it on to my grandson.
