Aww, I wanted to see it.

It didn't involve duct tape, did it?

Don't remove the picture because you're embarassed by something, others may find it interesting.

Oh, I remember reading about those new 870 stocks, and there was some minor controversy over them, if I recall. I can't remember what they look like, though.

not sad about it here, just amazed at the lack of respect people have.. now if those comments were not intended as I interpereted them, then I appologize and will repost the pics. . . I just see too many smartass comments on these forums to take them any other way...

who cares what people think about your stock. I am curious what it looks like now. Screw them, a tool is a tool.

I just picked up a Winchester 120, 12 gauge 2 3/4"-3" with a 28 inch barrel. It is old, used, and the finish is almost gone from the stock. It shoots like a dream, and gets meat on my table. I paid 160$ for it, it was worth every penny to me. I know some may think it is ugly but that doesn't bother me one bit.

And my mom used to say that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. If you don't like the stock, say "It is not my thing, but good for you." That is all that is necessary. If you don't like it, don't buy it, and don't slam other people.

for those who actually care, I put this stock on my 28" 870 in anticipation of turkey season. It is easy to hold the gun to my shoulder with my right hand while I use my left to call with a slate call that straps to my leg. It may be ugly as sin, but it works for its intended purpose... It is one of the new Remington Shurshot synthetic stocks and forends.
What companies make a good mount and scope for turkey hunting?

I would recommend playing with the lighting in the room for firearm pictures. An overhead light would be best, and or use the flash if you have it.

Some guns I like pretty. My Kimber was pretty. My old man has a BEAUTIFUL Sako Mannlicher in .308, that is GORGEOUS to the point I don't like to take it into the woods. Shotguns are meant to be used and abused, beaten, maybe used as oars, unless it is a 5k over under, function is key.

If a stock that is perceived ugly by some works well for you, you will still be happy when you are doped up on tryptophan and sleeping off a big turkey dinner.:eat:

Excuse me, but that doesn't look like a Remington 870. Where is the knurled cap at the barrel end of the magazine tube?
