M&P45 compact recoil? (compared to a G23 or G19)

Anyone have any experience shooting an M&P45 compact (or mid-sized)?
I'm wondering how it compares to a G19 or G23.

I can tell you I felt more recoil when shooting a rented full size M&P 45 than when shooting my Glock 30 sub compact .45 ACP.
