Skyping my daughter.

That was really good to see and talk to her. Better yet, it was free.

We talked for 30 minutes, got the report on all sorts of stuff, and got to hear some embellishment on her travels over the past month.

She's going to Paris next month, Scotland in November, and working Barcelona in there somewhere as well.

I love my baby. :hearts:

OK, I opened up the bragging on kids thing. Y'all go right ahead.

I just got done Skyping my daughter.

Damn..if I didn't know what Skype was, this would be the mental image I would have:

Seriously though, good to hear she's ok on her travels. Make sure you tell her to stay in condition yellow...lot of whackos in this world.

I'll bet you feel better now.

My kids are a pain in the ass.
All they do is whine for food and attention, make noise, and gripe and complain when I take them to the vet.

I love then anyway.

When I saw the thread title, I thought I was still in PM.

I called my dad yesterday. He always loves hearing about my travels and my work. I had to break it to him that I probably won't be coming home for Christmas this year.

He's the one who taught me "never give up" when working on something, so I had to tell him about this job, where most would have given up and called for a replacement (which would probably have been me).

Amazing what we learn from a good family environment, huh?

Sure is. Of course, that's all wrong, and millions of "Americans" hope to change all of that.

You mean we live in the greatest country in the world, and we'll get to change it?
