I'm not at all familiar with EAA's products.
Nice looking pistol. Tell us a bit about it, if you will.

It's made by Tanfoglio in Italy. The designed is based of of a CZ 75 patern, or a Baby Deagle if you're not familiar with the CZ.
There's slide/barrel assemblies available from EAA/Tanfoglio that will chamber and shoot .22lr, 9*19, .38super, .40s&w, and 10mm to boot. It's a do all frame. And the single action pull is very light. which should help make for very accurate shots.

I'm off to W*M for some 230gr pills and I'll stop at the range on the way back.

Unless something has changed significantly in the last few years, the Witness pistols aren't actually manufactured by EAA. They're just the importer. Tanfoglio, an Italian manufacturer, makes 'em.
My husband had an original Tanfoglio when we met. Not a bad shooter but he was on the negative side of the gun knowledge scale and didn't take very good care of her. Even with his misuse and mishandling, it was an accurate and fast pistol. Great value for the money.

Damn it. I type too slow.
AND I got hit with the 20 second limit. Go figure.

I tried looking up Tanfoglio in my Italiano-Americano dictionary, and it's not there. Probably a town or someone's name.
I did find out that "tampone" means "plug". :animlol: (Yeah, I'm drinkin' tonight. Jack Daniel's Old No. 7. That ****'s way too sweet.)

My bud has a Witness chambered in .45. He likes it a lot because it does not have redundant safeties and is a DA/SA. The only problem he has had out of it is the front sight has become loose 3 times now. I've shot it and it has the same feel as a 1911. The DA pull is of course longer. The reset is a little on the long side too.
All in all, I'd say you have a WINNER!
