Miami Glock??

I had seen a photo of a Glock 17 that had a Palm tree on right side of slide and was told that it was from Miami PD. I have since looked for one for my collection without luck. My question is has anyone seen one? I contacted a distributor last year (2007) and was told that they had been traded and sold. So if any one knows if they do or did exist I would appreciate any info, I don't want to be chasing a white whale!!!

I would get an account on www.officer.com (http://www.officer.com) forums and post your question there. There are LEOs from ALL OVER there. I'd be shocked if you couldn't find your answer there. They have a firearms section.

This is a g22. My brother has a g17, service issue, but with no markings; 1st generation i believe.

Sorry, no. I was lucky to get this one. Picked it up about 7-8 years ago.
