There will be a GSSF match in Creedmoor, NC on November 15-16, 2008. Creedmoor is near Raleigh, NC. This is the first match ever in Creedmoor, and I hope all of us Virginia/Carolina GT'ers will support it. Map, rules and details at www.gssfonline.com

Suggested equipment:
150 rounds per entry
4 magazines per pistol
folding chair
sunblock
baseball cap
water
snacks

You do not need a holster or magazine carrier. I use a Dillon range bag.

I plan to drive down Saturday morning and return Saturday night.

What is needed to shoot? Can I just show up, or do I have to preregister? I assume I have to be a GSSF member right?

You may join and register at the match. You need:

1. A Stock Glock, unless you wish to shoot in Unlimited Category

2. 150 rounds per entry--four magazines are helpful.

3. a baseball cap

4. a folding chair

5. sun block

6. water and snacks just in case none are available

You do not need a holster and there are no speed reloads. Rules and courses of fire may be found at www.gssfonline.com

Alright Danny, my interest is piqued. It says membership is $35, how much will the match cost? Also, I have a 17 and a 34 for that are Production/SSP legal, but have some after market tweaking done. I'll probably have to put them back to factory to stay out of limited right?

If the tweaking is with factory Glock parts then you are OK for stock. Most aftermarket sights are OK too. Aftermarket internals are not permitted in stock categories. You can shoot your G17 in Amateur Civilian Category and the G34 in Competition Category.

It's Duracoat. I had it done at the gun shop that I purchased the gun from (I planned it that way, I bought it then handed it over to get Duracoated).
