View Full Version : Need Help in Ordering a Glock
If Obama gets elected I'm planning on calling Glock and ordering a Glock 19 and/or possibly two Glocks the very next day using Glocks superb Homeland Security discount for the blue label package.
Now I want to get a 2nd G19 for ease of ammo/mags and such as I have a old G19 beater, but should I get 2 G19's or a G19 and something else?
Possibly a G21SF??
Don't know much about all the different Glocks & interchangeable mags & such, but the primary use will be concealed carry of any Glock we get.
So, what Glock should I think about getting?

G26 would be my choice.

First of all, you won't be ordering anything over the telephone. There will be a form to fill out, and a letter from your department head to submit. Then, it's off in the mail. Wait a few months and your package will arrive. I do like the GLOCK 19 and 26 combination. Order some extra magazines, while you're at it. Good luck!

Yes, many mistakenly believe that of the millions of folks now qualifying for blue labels, that GLock now sells over the phone to individuals!

Well duh, of course there is paperwork to fill out, but ya can start the process via phone and give em a credit card number silly :tongueout::tongueout::tongueout:
A G30 is always good to go along with a G19.

I agree, good choice.

Well, you mentioned they are to be for concealed carry, so I'd say G26 for the 9mm and G30 for the .45, and if you have smaller paws go with a G30SF. There is also the G36(slimline.45), but it has the single stack mags and only holds 6 rounds. Wow, so many different configurations to chose from.

I'd get a Glock 30 for ccw and a Glock 17 or Glock 21 for non-ccw. G30 first.

I own 2 G19s for just the reasons you stated - commonality of spares, ammo, holsters, etc - then look at a .45, G30 recommended there - don't wait though - do this one now - you'll regret it if you don't
what is a blue labeled glock?
"If Obama gets elected" Are you still going to order them if he does not get elected? Why wait?

but should I get 2 G19's or a G19 and something else?...
First, make sure you vote against Obama. Second, get a G26.

Nope, need to pay off a few bills before having enough disposable income to be able to afford them.

Opinions are like (insert term here) Everyone has one. :)
My (opinion) is to stick to 9mm. You already have it (I understand) its cheaper/more common then any other caliber then .22lr. It has enough power for self defense, hunting should be with a rifle (a .22 lr would be better at taking wild game then a pistol unless you are excellent shot/scope/other.)
Why mess with another caliber? (when funds seem low) You could get the G26 (more compact) and the G17 for full size. You can switch between them and at under 30' likely will be just fine swaping. Beyond that you might need to set sights to same point of Impact.

I too would recommend the same caliber, especially when I can point to the 26, great weapon! Stock up on ammo!
