Yep, I've got two.:whistling:
Insanely cool cameras. Full frame and unreal noise reduction at 1600+ ISO. Nothing but praise for them.

How are you running the dual card slots?

Generally a Lexar 8GB UDMA in each slot RAW only when #1 is full it writes to #2. How cool having 16GB in camera!
On occasion, Raw to #1 and Jpeg Fine to #2. I've a couple clients that want it that way and before the D3 it was always a major pain.

Are you using Lexars exclusively?

Ok, that's just rude. I should PM you my address so you can send your extra on over.....
I have a D300 and drool over 700 which has those same iso capabilities as your D3's.

I have a D300 too and it's a fine camera but there's nothing else that can touch the high ISO of the D3 and D700. The full frame sensor is cool, 9 fps is cool, the dual card slots are cool but the gem is the noise reduction.
i too have a 300.i wish i had the 700 but thats a few years down the road and god only knows what a d800 will be like???

My brother just bought a D700 with the vertical grip yesterday. He also has a D300 but he couldn't be out gunned by his little brother. I had to remind him that he still is.
