down for the winter

whelp, i guess its down for the winter... its not really winter here but i didnt have a choice.. was riding the bike to work and got about a mile from the house and lost oil pressure. Lost story short, i found a peice of metal in the oil pump (sheared the key) and had to tear the motor down because the metal came from somewhere. So i tear the motor all the way down.. its out of the bike, and the peice (along with 2 others) are from the pinion bearing. Even better news is that the reason they are from the bearing is..... the rods are tight.. the bearings are tight in one spot.. the forced the crank over and the bearing got into the retaining ring.. well i could fix it in a week with unlimited funds, but since i dont have that.. it will be all winter.
hope you all are getting so riding in.. i did drive the dragon in the van.. just to see what it was like... cant wait to ride it.

its a harley ultra with a evo motor..'97
the dragon was great in the van,,, i had fun like you would not believe.. i can not wait to ride it......
