Saw a device at the local gunshow that attaches to the trigger guard and claims to allow a semi- to fire 600-700rpm. Anyone know of this?

I was at the SOF convention in Vegas, and went to the live shoot they had...about 6yrs ago. The manufacturer of Hell Fire put on a demo....had one on an M14,AR15, and M11....full auto fire was achieved, was amazed, though you must hold the weapon a certain way....Not sure on the tac-trigger.....

Yeah, they mention the Hellfire and say this fixes the problems with it. This works off the recoil and actually pulls the gun's trigger, so you just about have to have it against your shoulder , but you activate it by pushing forward on it's 'trigger'. They have a video and Lenny Mcgill's in it, if that lends any credibility.

Trigger toys are fun at first, but after a while you end up taking them off the gun......

I've tried the tac trigger on my AR's and a 10/22. It flat out don't
work.I've had several buddies try them and they got the same results.
On the other hand, the Hellstorm works great if you can find one.

I went ahead and ordered the Auto Burst trigger system from LAS, Inc. in Montrose ,CO. , who also make the Tac-trigger and the Gat-trigger, thru Delta Force. I talked to a tech there who's tried them all and recommended the Auto Burst over the Tac-trigger, for it's all metal construction (actually, he recommended the Gat, which attaches to your trigger guard and has a crank that actuates the trigger when you crank it, much like a Gattling gun, but I just don't see that working out). Do you know who made the Hellstorm?

I can't remember the manufacturer.
The hellstorm is supposed to be the updated version of the hellfire.
I haven't come across one in a few years.I haven't even saw an advertisement for one. I only have experience with the hellstorm ,the
tac trigger and one more that was like the tac trigger .(I forgot the
name of it)The others that you mention may work ok . If you find something that works let me know ,I've been looking for a while.

The hellfire is a cheap piece of crap that made it's reputation through misleading, unclear shooting instructions. Once the **** is installed it marrs the trigger housing. The Hellstorm? If it's by the hellfire people, it'll be lame. The GAT is a fun but dangerous attachment. If it's full-auto you must have do it the real (right) way, convert it on the hush. People who post a bunch of crap about the penalties and how the proper steps must be taken (or else), need to realise that if a person is desperate enough to do the illegal conversion that letting an ATF or any LE official inspect their lower reciever would'nt be happening.
Why else would they be performing an illegal conversion to begin with unless a time of war arises? To be cool? MG's dont make you cool, But learning everything there is to know about every single firearm that one posesses is. Yep, even how to illegally modify their own guns.

Dont get me wrong I dont knock all you legal Tax Stamp holding MG owners. But just because thats the only way they'd let you own one doesnt make it cool to be all PC posting gun law after gun law, knowing all the while that you yourself got shafted by the GOV\ATF. Starting when you payed that outrageous price for your legal Class 3 firearm. Followed by the $200 Tax Stamp BS.

Live and let live, just dont try to knock others from learning because some Politically correct scare tactic is to make people think that information and posting\talking\conveying Class 2\3 information is a crime....it aint!

Rant over, no offense to anyone who might take some.
