Downloading Movies To iPod

Can someone who is much smarter than I (not hard to do) help me.

Can I download a DVD to my iPod classic? I am not sure how to do this. When I download music I just put the CD in the drive and I get a pop up that asks me if I want to put it in iTunes. It doesn't do this with movies.

Any help would be appreciated. I did a search and came up blank.

+1 Use videora to convert them into files that are playable by the ipod then put them into itunes.
