Hey GTers,
I'd like to swap in a 500 gig eSATA HD into Macbook (2 gRAM, 160 gig HD, Leopard 10.5.5).

I have one of those USB 2.0 to 3.5 or 2.5 inch or eSATA adaptor thingies - but no instructions. It's really easy to move files and such. But can I copy the entire drive including OS this way or will I have re-load Leopard?

Thanks,
Ed

SuperDuper! (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html) will clone your Mac drive. The free version should do everything you need.

Yup. SuperDuper free version is great.

If you run into trouble, Dave gives excellent support for free ( thought its well worth $20 upgrade)

Sure is nice have to bootable, 100% (for all practical purposes) clone of your drive. I keep 2 on external HD's.
