Anyone going to the Crossroads of the West gunshow at the Cashman Center this coming weekend?

I'm kinda wary of going to this show, although I may go just to pick up some more mags for my AR. I might go off on someone if they try to gouge me to my face though.

Then be prepared to pay $25 and up for those AR mags so you won't feel like you're being gouged. No reach around either...

See, that's exactly what I was afraid of. I'm willing to pay what they SHOULD cost, $14-15. Hell, I'm even willing to accept a bit of a markup and pay up to $19 to buy local. However, USGI mags with green followers should be no more than that price.

I honestly wonder how stupid people are going to feel if no ban is even attempted. Then they'll have spent all this extra money for nothing. I wonder if that wasn't the idea all along. Maybe they should threaten to ban houses and pickup trucks next, might stimulate that market a bit.

The prices being asked at the Santa Fe Station show were as I described. P-Mags were going for $30 and up, "regular" aluminum bodied AR mags were from $25 and up from there. I may...may...have seen one vendor that had the "GI" mags for $20.

I saw Pmags at the Santa Fe show for 18 bucks. Most were OD, but they could be had.

As for the OP: I don't need anything bad enough right now to go wade through the Obama supporters rushing to buy guns before their guy takes office. I also have always disliked being disarmed at the Cashman shows while the urban looking young gentlemen with the cannabis cologne are sure to be in possession of firearms. The gangsters in the show aside, it makes me nervous as hell that my gun is in my vehicle while I am inside. If I were a criminal and wanted to steal guns, I would bet over 20% of the vehicles parked at cashman on gun show day have guns in them.

I was thinking about going to try and sell my Swiss K31.
Do you think I'll have any luck at that? Should I not bother to go?

Too much hype and hysteria at the moment.
Even the beef jerky and turquoise jewlery will be marked up.

Well, I went on Saturday.
Parking lot was full when I got there around noon.

I saw USGI M16 30 round magazines selling for $15 each and Magpul PMAG 30 round magazines selling for $20 each.

Asain military contract (Tawainese?) M14 20 round magazines for $20 each.

Glock 9x19mm 33 round magazines selling for $40 each and Glock 9x19mm 17 round magazines for $28 each.

.308 ammo (berdan primed, 146gr FMJ) $419 for 1000 rounds.
WWB .45GAP 230gr FMJ $185 for 500 rounds.

Almost all the C&R firearms were over priced.
Romanian Tokarev for $279, CZ-82 for $295, Yugo 24/47 for $200, Swiss K-31 for $350, Russian SKS for $500.

I was tempted on two C&R firearms, but ended up passing on them.
First was a reblued, non # matching, non-import marked, Mauser C-96 for $645.
Second was a non-import marked, 60% condition, Canadian Browning Hi-Power Mark 1 with detachable stock/holster for $800.

Well, it looks like I should have gone just to pick up my mags and high-tail it out of there. Does anyone know what the glock mags legitimately were increased to? I still think they should be like $15 each, shows you how long it's been since I bought mags.

Don't forget to add the price of admission and parking to your bargains ;) Glock mags should legitimately be around $20-$25 now with their official price increase. Some places have old stock and you can find them cheaper online. OMB Express for example or CDNN
