View Full Version : To hide a hunter
I'd post the article, but there is a neat click it photo associated with it that is worth seeing.
It's been posted here before, but the fad with camo is overly exagerrate. Just last week, I had a deer jump out the far brush walk right pass me sitting on a orange chair, cover in orange from head to chest , wearing old faded woodlands BDUs.
Doe never blinked twice and it came within 10yards of my position and grazed for about 2 mins just 12 yards away. I could see her eating the grass and she even released gas. That's how close it was ;)
Proper scent control, and positioning your body so things around you and behind you make you not appear as human is all you need.
Indian and earlier hunters have been doing it right for years before woodlands camo was developed.
