then I am going to be very very pissed off. :steamed:
The prosecution would not accept a plea bargain of guilty with the promise of no death penalty, but instead insisted they would pursue the death penalty. No problem. IMO the man is as deserving of the death penalty as anyone who ever walked into a courtroom.
So we bankrupted the public defender's office, and my taxes paid a hundred lawyers a jillion dollars. Again, this is okay as long as they do their job and get the sentence. But if it turns out that no one there was convincing enough to get a unanimous sentence, maybe we should have saved our money.
