Well Folks,next week I'll be installed as SW.This will be my fourth and final time to serve as SW for our Lodge.After this year we will merge with another Lodge ending an era and starting anew.tom.:cool:

Thanks JBD.The PDDGM who is a member of the Lodge we are merging with will be installing our WM.He has aided in our functions for many years and is a welcome sight.tom.

Guess I should make sure I am awake when I am posted. I posted two messages a while ago and messed them both up. Good thing I was on the computer and not on the range.

Thanks,I sure had a good one.We all got some nice gifts,ate well and too much.LOL.Wife and I cleaned up the kitchen and redd up in general. Everyone has left now so I'm here with my Forum Friends.tom.

I look at some of the old (1800's) pictures of PM's at my lodge and marvel at the many brothers that served numerous terms as Worshipful Master. Their devotion to the Craft must have been great.

You are correct.That and there being no distractions such as TV,computers,working shifts,60 hr work weeks,etc.The men that did work shifts,didn't serve in the Lodges.tom.:cool:
