As of December 1, 2008 SLED stopped doing fingerprints so now my wife and I need to find a different place to get our fingerprints done so that we can send in our application for our CWP.

What other places offer this service?

Thanks!

You could always go down to Richland County Detention Center see if they'll do them for you ;)

Seriously though...SLED was the only place I knew of. Have they said why they stopped?

Our jail does it for either $5 or $10.

Come on over to Kershaw County (30 minute drive) and get it done here.

hey carbonfly, try any other police agency near you, city of cola, richland county, or lex county. i myself, got the inkpad from office depot and finger printed myself and got my father inlaw (trooper)to sign off on it.

I think it's a sign of the times. Everyone seems to be trying to cut costs.

In Charleston, they do it at the County Jail.

By law, they're restricted to a $5 charge...

Just make sure they use the right card... they should know the difference.
