Law question about F/A

Can someone who legally owns a F/A gun loan it out?
Example, I go to a private club range, could my freind who has a legal FA Cobray let me take it out to the range without him being there?

Probably not, but thought I would ask.

A lawful owner of a Class III device may loan it to another person to use, so long as: a) that person is not prohibited from Class III ownership, and b) the owner of the Class III device stays there. So no, you cannot loan the Class III item to someone else and leave -- you have to remain in the item's presence.
