Pls recommend good but affordable stuff.
I wear eyeglasses. Dont know what kind of eye protection is compatible. Is there eye protection that I can comfortably put over my eyeglasses? or do I have to get prescription safety lenses?
Foe hearing, who carries Peltor or Surefire? Any other brands you can recommend?
try to look at rudy project
they have rx inserts for some of thier models. and they also offer clip ons
if on a budget look for the spyder brand, they also offer models with rx inserts. but they seem to be on the large size for me.
I've been using Peltor muffs for a few years now. You can get them at most shops although I got mine on-sale during the 2002 gunshow. If you're really on a budget, the cheapest would be the muffs you find at ACE or Handyman.

I love my ESS ICE-2x glasses. You can get them in prescription too. I like Pro-ears for hearing protection, they have them from 30-300 bucks depending on what you want.

i got a nice $10 clear eyewear from my local range
and i use a GLOCK branded PELTOR earmuffs off eBay for like $29.99
ill post pics and info when i get home :)
I've been shooting for the past few years with my regular prescription glass. I entertained a dedicated shooting 'glass' (or googles) with prescription insert, but it's too constraining. Also, it defeats the practical aspect of shooting.
I've upgraded from a regular Peltor to the electronic Dillon years ago and never look back. I wear them as soon as I start going into my competition and don't take them off between stages. It's not too tight, so 'head compression' is not an issue. Personally, my problem of taking off the 'muff would be losing them. In the end, those regular P1T+ would still add up. If you plan competitive shooting for a long time (say the next five years), go with the electronic kind. Buy once, cry one.

thanks for the replies.
What is the price range of peltor ear muffs? I checked online and found out they have a lot of models. What should I look for, aside from high db reduction?
Is it safe to use regular glasses? Di kaya mabasag?
Where can I find Spyder or Rudy Project? And whats the price range?
I use UVEX safety glasses which are about $10.00. The lens are replaceable with different tints. Plus, it has a CSA rating.
Still have my Peltor H9s which I bought in LA in 1990. They're still good. My other brother gave me a Peltor Tactical which I currently use.

I'd like to know where to get Spyder too. I've been shooting with only my prescription glasses, but at our last rifle match, my right lens flew off just as I was diving down to shoot prone. Good thing I was using a scope, but it's kinda hard to hit a plate at 10 meters with a pistol when transition time came.
I wonder if the Spyder can double as my driving glasses, summertime is almost on us.
Also I went back to earplugs for long arms, my face is such that when I shoulder the rifle or shotgun, my right Peltor muff rides up, exposing my right ear.

Go to the nearest SM malls and go to the men's accessories section in the department store.
