First Time Hand gun owner looking for advice.

Hey all, I am new to GT and am ready to buy a gen 4 G23 but am also considering a gen 3 G19. I tested both at the range and liked them both but the G19 was a gen 4 and two failures where the trigger got stuck and wouldn't load another round. Looking for all of your guys expertise and advice.

If these were rentals at the range. You have to remember they have at least 10000 rounds through them. And just beat up and wore out. I have 3000 + through my g19 gen. 4. with no malf. The early g19 gen 4 were having problems with a too heavy recoil spring. But glock fixed that problem. There should be 034 stamp on it. Glock will send you one if it's different free. They were putting the g23 in the g19.
