Glocks (and many other autos) will chamber a round when the fresh magazine is inserted with some force or speed. Glocks have always done that for me, so much so that I have to pay attention because when it doesn't happen it surprises me and I'm actually slowed down in the reload.

I noticed that we have carried very similar handguns...insert smiley.
