New Shooters First Handgun

As an experienced shooter, instructor, hunter & reloader, I often get asked by new shooters; “what should I get for my first or only handgun”? In our world of high tech & semiautos, it might surprise many that I am not a fan of the semiautomatic, even a GLock, as a new or only gun for first time shooters.
The Glock platform is great, simple for a semiautomatic, but still more complicated than a revolver. Add to that the ammo limitations to...

It all started last weekend - It was my birthday and I did like I do often on a Sunday morning. I turned on the PC to see whats going on with the world (plenty lately) and check e-mail. After my mornings middle eastern dictator uprising report I moved on to my email. That also had alot of the same stuff but theres one that always sparks interest - the weekend sale from IMA (International Military Antiques). After going down the sale list one item caught my eye.
