More home-made 44-caliber JHPs

Well, I spent a little more time with the JHPs and the notching die tonight. My first efforts came out strange/weird and all sorts of variations.

letter to all elected officals in response to the AZ shooting

if you haven't yet you need to contact your elected officials and let them know they should not rush to pass laws as a reaction to the AZ shooting. below is an email I've sent to my congressmen and am planning to send to my state government as well. you may notice most of my last blog entry is used in the message.

This coming January 22nd, will mark the thirty-eighth anniversary of the the Supreme Court's landmark ruling in the case of Roe v. Wade. And despite of the media's attempt to elevate the anniversary date to red-letter status, the country is still sharply divided over the Court's decision. In fact, the number one question looming over any nominee to sit on the Supreme Court, well, any nominee by a Republican administration, is "how will they rule regarding Roe v. Wade?"

Raising Arizona

Before I start, let there be no misunderstanding; what happened to the people of Arizona over the weekend was an unmitigated tragedy. A horrible person did a horrible thing, and I feel for every single person whose life was ended, altered, and disrupted by this event. I disagree with some of those people politically, but I wished them no ill personally.

That little girl, in particular, is a heartbreaker.

The Ruger SR9C - Affordable, Reliable, Shootable

One of the more recent entries into the concealed carry market, and certainly among the more affordable, is Ruger’s SR9C.
