Next step on the 30-06 brass: ANNEALING, and 44 JHPs getting wrapped up.

With those beautiful 1000 pieces of 30-06 brass staring up at me, I couldn't resist not working on them...

The next step was annealling, but because I had found a few cases with live primers still in them while I was passivating and polishing them, I decided to jump in and remove the primer pocket crimp first. This way, I have verified there's no live primers in the brass before putting them to the torch... So, last night, while Unforgiven was on the boob tube, I got about 350-400...

390,000 lb single gainer.

I've spoken before of the Unit Rig trucks, and how they operate. The diesel electric, like a locomotive. As a safety there is a thing called over-speed braking in the event the truck exceeds the 32 mph speed specified for the truck. You can by-pass that speed, on a hill for instance, and go however fast you cojones will allow.

Mossberg 500 Pistol Grip

Posted 01-14-2011 at 17:06 by jruss004

My local gun shop sells the Tacstar ergonomic pistol grip for 25 bucks then they wanted to charge 35 bucks to unscrew a screw and put it on and screw the screw back in lmao. Any way I found it funny. It took me only about 4 minutes to "install" it and most of that time was just digging out an allen wrench that would fit. Can't wait to go try it out I'm hopeful it will take some of the sting out of shooting it.

Updated 01-17-2011 at 22:39 by MakeMineA10mm (Added some photos!)

Well, I spent a little more time with the JHPs and the notching die tonight. My first efforts came out strange/weird and all sorts of variations.

Got a little advice from the guy who makes my dies and did some more experimenting with settings tonight, and I'm pretty happy with what I've got. These bullets are starting to look a lot like Winchester Black Talons! (Except without the...
