Posted 12-08-2010 at 16:58 by Arquebus12

On one of those perfect Arizona fall mornings we decided to go flying in my brother's Cessna 140. They were hot, sweaty, and in a general bad mood cause they had been trying to prop start the planes for over an hour as it had a dead battery.

We asked if we could help and were invited to the prop party. I went first cause I was taller. My brother yelled...

Posted 12-08-2010 at 00:03 by TheBelly

I won't attempt to claim that I'm some sort of war hero. I know people who are, and I've been right next to extraordinary people when they have outperformed the rest of us. Sometimes that's just the way these things happen.

With all that being said, I have no real redeeming/outstanding qualities. I simply do my job the best that I know how and try to improve every day,...

I wanted something awesome to celebrate my degree with. Something cool and fun that I could look at and would remind me of graduating, of getting off my ass and finishing something, that could serve as a milestone marker not only of finishing up at NKU, but of our move to Texas.

Looking at a map of aforementioned Texas, finding the little dot marked "Cleburne" and the non-dot where I knew Stephenville to be -- Stephenville housing Tarleton State University -- I decided...
