I bought from a old friend of mine a G19 that was one of the first to come to the USA . It has a uncaptured spring and guide rod . I want to change it out to a new captured spring and guide rod . I seem to be having some problems with making it fit . Should this captured spring guide rod simply drop into place of the old uncaptured one ? Thanks for any replies !
