Hey! I live in ABQ, but am not here too much, I work in Los Lunas and go to school in El Paso :p As for BLM land, I've always gone out to the Rio Puerco offroad area. There are a few places out there that are great for shooting. There's also the city range out near Double Eagle II Airport that is cheap to shoot at if you want a controlled range.
