I only own the VTAC right now. I used a VCAS for a couple of days in a carbine class but it was borrowed. FWIW, they are pretty equal slings. I think the VTAC needs to be snugged up a little more often though.

Where you at in TX? I'm down South now, but grew up around College Station.

Just wondered do you have 1 of those slings you dont use? I would be interested
