Did you ever know a multi-passed over Capt EWO at Blytheville/Eaker named Randy Wright. Was my next door neighbor in Nav/EWO school. Understand he basically handed over the keys to the base when it closed. He still lives in Blytheville and works at the Milwaukee Tool factory. Another guy who may have been there when you were that would have overlapped us was Jim Buckley (AC) and Gary Winterbeger (AC).
My friend/neighbor at Blytheville was LtCol George Allison who, with BG Russ McCarthy, from 42nd AD wrote the book "Linebacker II, A View from the Rock." Last time I saw the base was in 2005 driving home from visiting kids. Most of the base is now owned by the Presbyterian (I think) Church as a retirement community. Nice lady let us walk through the house we used to live in on base.
