I'm about to send my G23 slide in for a refinish and I'm doing the nose job myself just for fun and to save some money. I have looked into finishes and it looks like Cerakote is about the best you can get and I like some of the colors. I just wanted to ask you a few questions first. Is the coating thin enough that the surface finish if the steel shows through like a PVD coating or do you just bead blast the whole slide for better adhesion? I am just wondering what level of finish I need to bring the muzzle to before I send it in. I also want to send all the other metal bits in (extractor, slide catch,ect.) to match the slide. What do you charge for the little parts?
