Hi Mas, Hope all's well in your world. I just saw a post in G.A.T.E. where you said you usually use CLP type product (which I use too), but wondered if you have tried "Slide Glide", by Brian Enos? I have switched to using CLP for part of the cleaning process, but using Slide glide for lube; only takes a very small amount and unlike grease and oil stays on the moving parts and protects from grit. Here's a link in case you want to read about it. http://www.brianenos.com/ Best wishes, David
My name is Brent, and I don't mean to bother you i know your busy, but I just read the book Glock. It told a good story about you, and your girlfriend shooting IDPA in FL. I very briefly met you at a GSSf shoot near Atlanta a couple years ago. I didn't get to see you shoot, but saw that you placed high. I was wondering what model Glock, along with sights, and especially trigger pull you use when you shoot guardian? Thanks Mas
Evidently I do not have enough post to respond to Hankv's question posed to you about the 155 grain Gold Dot. That is my department's issue round for our G22s and G27s. I went to an ATK workshop a few years ago and was impressed. We switched from 180 grain Gold Dots shortly after the testing. Never had an issue with the round in our guns. My department is the South Sioux City NE PD. Thanks for your hard work Mas and take care.
ive been reading your stuff since 1988 or so....i forgot which gun magazines they were but i'll never forget the two pix of you, one you were drawing a stainless Bulldog 44spl bobbed hammer from the right front long coat pocket and the other you were in some police uniform (hat and all) with a Ruger p90DC? in the holster.....i was young and impressionable...you gave good tips then and still do to this day.
I was 12 years old when I read "In the Gravest Extreme", this was back in the '80s. Since then I have followed your very impressive career. I hope to someday meet you. And I hope to someday take one of your courses.
Just wanted to say its a pleasure to read some of your writings and have the opportunity to chat with you on the forums. I just learned about your flashlight techniques in the Police academy at the Niceville florida location. Very interesting stuff. thanks again.
