I would rather walk around with a Glock in my pocket too. However, I don't. I do carry a folder and a small flashlight in every windbreaker or jacket. Yes, I would rather hit someone with a maglight, but I don't want to carry it on the street. I would rather have a maglight in my car on the floor. However, I am older and if I forget to lock the car doors, take it out when at a service station or similar situation, my knives, maglights and similar items get legs and walk. I had a knife take a hike on me at a Firestone dealership.

I am not concerned with fender benders I avoid fights and particularly grappling. I know what the judge would say because I sat in Department N on bench on Tuesday morning in Compton, Ca. Intent is not inferred from whether you have a maglight, baseball bat, tire thumper, metal pipe or a rolled up newspaper (they work fairly well) in your car.
