Hi! I just found your message, hope Iam not too late! I used Fiebings leather stain that I purchased from The Cobbler Store over on e-bay. I am attaching the link. I first cleaned the holster very thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol. After the stain dryed I applied several coates of neutral shoe polish and buffed it out with a brush. I polish it with shoe polish, usually neutral as I dont want boot black all over my clothes, about every 6 mos or so.

Hello Vince49, I have a Don Hume holster in brown for my Glock 27. I wish it was black. How did you dye yours and does it stay black over time. Thanks in advance, James Plant.
