That avatar is 60 years old.
I still like toys that go bang!
Soon after the cap pistol, I got a Red Ryder BB gun. About that time my dad bought the family farm from his older brother who was retiring from the business. "7 thousand - lock stock and barrel."
"Barrel" included the family dump: about 50 yards up the "lane" behind the barn was a small fenced in area that was grown up with small trees. Anything we'd "recycle" today...
