Hiya,
Yeah, she was huge here in SA, but moved to the USA to pursue her career. USA is huge, and small artists don't often get known outside their circle.
But she is really doing great there. Just played the Viper Room, and is touring quite often. She has done a lot of festivals, and has played with some big names. I think it's only a metter of time before she is better known..but I think you can be successful in the US and still not be well known by everyone.
She has moved from Fl to LA now.
When you said "other person" are you saying you have caught her play before?
She's an amazing girl. Stupborn...high maintenance and headstrong maybe..but amazing. LOL.
She will tour NO again. She's coming back to SA for a few weeks soon. Good..miss her like crazy.

Saw your post in the Lil Wayne thread. I'm sure she's big in S.A., but you're the first other person I've come across that's even heard of her. I'm in New Orleans. Same place as Lil Wayne, sadly enough. Now with the lawsuit I'm guessing she won't be booking any tours here. Bummer.
