Hi Mas,
I know, and agree, with your thoughts as regards using any .380 for self defense. That notwithstanding, if I have a .380 mouse-gun P3AT (not my primary CCW), with a 2.7" barrel, would using .380 FMJ risk over penetration? I am concerned that Hollow points might not penetrate sufficiently from a mouse-gun. What is your opinion, and/or experience with a mouse-gun?

Hi Mas,
Thank you for all your input, its greatly appreciated. Wouldn't I have a slight "advantage" in that my Velocity drop would be smaller if I were to use .45ACP 230gr Gold Dot as opposed to the Gold Dot Short Barrel in a Glock 36? (Or the "regular" load vs. the "short barrel" load for most any mftr.)
