Small world. I am in The Woodlands since 97.

My dad flew B17s in Europe in WW2, and flew for Pan American out of Miami for 34 yrs. So I grew up loving aircraft and flying.

I have been going for years. a great grill for lunch... I have a friend who runs United mx tech ops hangars his Piper Arrow right on the ramp. Does all his own mx. Really a pristine aircraft. I have watched a Spitfire (MK959)and Hurricane get all new restoration paint jobs there..... several yrs ago.

I didn't fly either. I was in Procurement and Contracts. My first job as 2LT was at HQ MAC, and did DOD worldwide contract airlift with the airlines for pax and cargo. one of the best jobs i ever had.

Looked up your Piper. What a nice classic....!!!

Maybe some weekend I can swing up to Lone Star. Gun shows up that way also.

    Thanks for the msg back.
