- Retired cop, currently a writer. Twenty years in Shreveport, La. Ten years in patrol, 10 in the Dicks. Retired as captain of detectives. I am a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the DEA Drug Institute, and the LSU Law Enforcement Institute.
