Trooper, I think I got a message that was meant for you. It was simply labeled, "Death of a Trooper". No text. I am glad to see a FHP Trooper here. I was an Auxillary Trooper at Troop C in Tampa/St Pete when I was a LT in the USAF at MacDill. I served about 2 years in 1989 and often wish I had gone FT as a FHP Trooper.
I think I would have had a career I could have enjoyed.
Growing up in Welaka, Fl in the 70's the FHP were feared, respected, trusted, and always counted on. I sill recall the full flap holsters in the cross draw position. Good luck and God Bless.
