I'm not directly involved in anesthesia; although, some of my students might claim that I am an expert on putting them to sleep. I'm a teaching psychologist who did some research in the areas of depression, pain management, and the neurological underpinnings of development...Substance-P was my favorite neurotransmitter (or neuropeptide). No real reason...maybe just because it was the easiest to spell...
