Dukey, Your Gun shop guy is wrong! Once you rack a round into the slide, your first shot is 7.3 and each thereafter is 7.3! That is why it is essential to rack one into the chamber and they are made to do that! The 9mm is sweet. I just sold mine for $750. I have a couple of holsters for sale if you are interested. Cheap. I will put them on the forum soon. I needed the money and decided to get a Kahr PM40 for better concealment purposes. I still have my P2000 iin 40 and intend to keep that gun.

Not trading afterall. The guy called today and said that his wife, secretly bought him a new P200SK .40 LEM for his going away present (he's a Marine and is going off to school at Camp Lejune) for $700, but that he only got one 9 round mag with it. We had just shot my Sk when he called and to be honest, I was kind of relieved. I was only going to have $300 in my pocket and I've found several of those bigger USPs in the $400-$450 range. I would have been looking for another SK, especially after shooting this one and they aren't cheap and the LEMs are not easy to find. I need to get my wife a 9mm, though. She actually shot this .40 better than I did, but she would like something with less recoil. The LEM trigger is going to take a bit of getting use to, but I like it. I agree with you on the safety issue. It doesn't hurt to put another round in the mag after you've loaded one in the chamber, does it? That heavy trigger you feel when dry firing the gun, without racking the slide never comes into play, because you always have to rack the slide to chamber one. That guy at the gun shop acted like your first shot would be with the heavy pull and all subsequent shots at the lighter pull. I never understood that. Am I missing something here?
